Quadrille

A Quadrille is a choreographed pattern and movements ridden to music by a team of four, six, eight or more riders; the RCMP Musical Ride is a very large and complicated quadrille. The pattern does not necessarily have to be founded on the movements of dressage.

Kassai Horseback Archery
This ancient sport of archery, not so long ago was in every day life. In modern times only a few countries are stillpracticing it. One of them is thefamous Hungarian Mr. Kassai, whom after 20 years of experimental research and practice, reconstructed the legendary bow of the nomadic people, which is designed specially for horseback archery. He has reinvented this sport and refined the rules and regulations, so it is adaptable for any style of horseback archer from around the world. It gives a room to grow, and advance in many ways. To develop the proper archery and riding skills, you mast separate the two. First you learn archery without a bow and arrow, like you learn riding without a saddle. After mastering basic forms and speed on the ground, balance coordination and harmony on the horse, it is time to put the two arts together. The end result is a Centaur, spirit warrior, who is one with his horse and bow.

Natural Horsemanship
Natural horsemanship is a method of communicating with a horse based on how they communicate with each other. It is a very effective method of building a solid foundation in young horses. NH is also important tool that is used in retraining older horses that have developed behaviour problems.

Reining
Reining is an event designed to show the athletic ability of a ranch type horse. Reining is considered by many to be the western equivalent of dressage. In reining competition, contestants are required to run one of several approved patterns. Each pattern includes small slow circles, large fast circles, flying lead changes, roll backs over the hocks, 360 degree spins done in place and the exciting sliding stops that are the hallmark of the reining horse. Reining is the latest discipline to be recognized by the FEI (International governing body of equestrian sports). International competitions are now being held at which countries are represented by both team and individual competitors.
